Yoga Child's Pose

A One-Time Class

For those of you visiting the valley for a short duration (family gathering, bachelorette, girls weekend, etc) who want a one-off class. This can happen on a deck, at the beach, on a dock, inside at your accommodation (travel costs may apply – see below).

Yoga Retreat

A Series of  Classes

You've got a group of people. You know what you want.  Now you just need someone to teach that class;  that's where I come in.  Maybe you're here for the summer and have a family that wants a regular class, or a group of you from your neighbourhood want to do some outdoor Yoga at the beach a few times.

Cost & Things To Know:

In-studio (at my studio):

$120 per 1-hour class, inclusive of tax. Studio can hold six (6) people comfortably. If the class is in-studio, all props are available for the class, including mats, at no extra charge.  The studio is on the main floor of a rammed earth house and has a lovely little wood stove and amazing views.

Classes at other locations:
$120 per 1-hour class with travel included if the class is within Invermere proper. For classes in Wilmer, Timber Ridges, Windermere, or Juniper Heights, a mileage and travel-time fee of $20 is added.  You will be responsible for your own mats and props (towels are often used when we're outside). If you are further away than this, please reach out to me to discuss.

I can also offer outdoor personalized classes in the winter (on the lake is usually people’s favourite)! Appropriate dress required. Weather permitting (I don't do anything below -20Cº).

How It Works:
Booking is available up to 6-weeks in advance, anything before that we pencil in the day and confirm 6-weeks out. You are considered confirmed once payment has been received. 72 hours cancellation is required.  E-transfer is preferred.

Things I'll Need To Know:
1. How many people will there be?

2. Where, when, and for how long?

3. Is anyone in the group new to yoga?

4. Does anyone who's participating have any injuries?

5. Any drinking that night before the class (so we don't do too many forward bends – lol – I'm looking at you bachelorette parties)?

6. What kind of class you are looking for (slow, rigorous, etc)?

General Hours of Availability:

Standard times of availability are: 9:15am-10:15am & 3:15pm-4:15pm Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday.

Other times and locations are absolutely available and can be arranged directly with me.

To book those please email me with the answers to the above questions (Things I'll Need To Know).

About  Me

My name is Natt Forrest

There are two sides to Yoga that I really love:

One side is that I love working with the physical aches, pains, and tension, and getting people back to moving well.

The other side is the psychology side of Yoga. I adore helping people improve their connection with Nature and inner space and peace. You'll see both of those things reflected in my work and on this website.

To me, Yoga isn’t something that is taught. I truly dislike the word teacher. And I often wonder, just how much of what is done in a class is actually Yoga. I think of classes as more of a way to work on techniques and gain insight to take home and incorporate into a personal experience … where the realization of Yoga arises.

FAQ

What's the difference between a private and a personalized class?

Private Classes are designed for one person and are a series of sessions (occasionally a one-time class) where we work specifically on something (like a particular Yoga posture, breathing ability, how to move well so that pain decreases, therapeutic movements, understanding how your body is moving, etc). Private classes have a home-program that we are creating or working with to help you achieve a particular thing.

Personalized Classes are arranged for more than one person (could be a pair, could be as a group) who want a specific experience. In a personalized class we don’t create or work on a home-program.
